About the Presenter
Before taking the Partnership Specialist position, Mark Boyd had more than 4 years of experience in the Field Division of the U.S. Census Bureau. Due to his health science background, he worked exclusively on survey data collection for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He also worked as a Crew Leader for Enumerators in the 2010 Decennial Census.

Prior to Mark's time in the U.S. Census Bureau, he enjoyed a 15-year career in the Medical/Pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing profession. His positions included Representative, District Manager, Regional Manager and National Account Manager. During this time Mark developed and implemented new training programs, primarily focused on Sales Skills. He also helped develop and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies which resulted in outstanding product growth. He is the recipient of multiple national and regional sales, marketing and training awards.
In his personal life, Mark is a member of multiple civic, social, faith-based and philanthropic organizations. He enjoys volunteering and giving back to the community. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Combined Science and one year of formal medical school training.
